September we adjusted to life with Jack in preschool, and some more Hanna and Mommy time! We also went to Papa Mick's house for some piano and sprinkler time, and Grandpa Bob/Grandma Carol's for some 4-wheeler and apple picking! We spent a lot of time just playing at home...especially dressing up in costumes!
Heard some banging in the basement, and looked in the monitor to see the kids 'working' on the crib! They were hammering away in their hard hats!
Jack made Brandon and Libby!
Zoo Tunes
Hanna Stories:
-While watching cookies bake in the oven, you were saying, "Oh ya baby!" You said it over and over again as you ate them too!
-You put yourself in timeout now if you don't get your way! If you are whining or crying too much, you also cry for timeout and then go stand in the corner. This helps you calm your mood!
-"I dooooo!" Papa taught you to raise your hand and say this when asked, "Who loves Mommy?!" You also do this as a response to, "Who loves pancakes, doggies, Papa, Minga, Daddy, Jacky, Hanna, donuts, etc."
Jack Stories:
-While walking around at the Y, you said, "When Daddy gets bigga and bigga and talla like me, we can play basketball."
-You finally asked for a dog! We drove by one, and in the saddest most pathetic voice you said, "I wish weeeee had a puppy." I told you that Papa and Grandma Joyce didn't let me have one. He said, "Where did Lilly come from?" I told him that Grandma got her when I was in college. "I want to be in college when I'm 5 or 6 so I can have a puppy." You've used this same phrase after seeing trampolines and basketball hoops as well.
-I told you to help pick up the house because Papa was coming over. You said, "Papa's not a guest! You know who's really good at picking up? Papa!" You later told me that you and Papa made a deal. This deal was that you get ice cream every time he comes. You have such a good memory!
-"Mom...you're makin me sassy. And I don't like it when you make me sassy."
-After I mouth 'I love you' to you, you sometimes mouth 'I don't love you' back...just to see if I notice. Which I do. The other day I did this and you didn't respond. I told you that it hurt my feelings. You responded, "I'm watching a show. I don't want to focus on saying I love you."
