November 2013
November was a fun month! There were some warm fall days to play outside, and some freezing cold winter days to prep us for the months to come! We really enjoyed the local Holiday Extravaganza (even though it was freezing cold). The neatest part was that the kids got to go 'shopping' in one of the buildings in the square for a present for each of us for Christmas. Adults led the kids through and each of them got to pick something out for each of us! It was so sweet. I got some bracelets, lotion, a gift card for a facial, an ornament, makeup bag, and Justin got a screwdriver, Simpson shirt, and a coffee mug! The kids also enjoyed decorating the cookies!
Just hanging out at Grandma Joyce's Thanksgiving weekend
Thanksmas: Jack got to go on a tractor ride again, but this time with my cousin Mark!
All the great-grandkids that were there opening presents. Hanna got a doll and Jack got a car that you shake and it drives around like crazy!
Jack skipped his nap this day which he was so excited about. At one point I looked over and he was sitting in a chair reading a book he found all by himself. My uncle Andy noticed that he looked scared, so he sat down and explained the book as he reread it to him so he wasn't so scared of the monsters.
Decorating the tree!
Jack couldn't wait to climb the ladder like a 'worker guy'. He got a bit timid at the top...
Hanna just wanted to climb and climb....
...and had to be told to STOP climbing to the top! Brave. Little. Girl.
Christmas card photo session!
Playing the Jack and Hanna song over...and over again.
One of the nice days to play outside
Cousin Landon came to town!
