Jack: 15-16 months!

Jack continues to be so much fun!! This month we hosted Easter, went to the park, read a lot of books, went to a wedding, and played outside! He goes to bed about 6:30 every night...wakes up at 6:15 or so. He LOVES daycare so much! The last few weeks, he has not been happy to leave daycare. I pick him up when he's playing outside in a kid's fantasy play place! He runs away from me when I get there...and I end up carrying him upside down, crying because he wants to play on their slides, swings, and rock climbing wall (yes he loves this thing and sneaks up it when no one is looking.) He actually tried to hold on to the fence post as we walked through the gate the other day. I swear we have fun at home...and we know he loves us too! He just loves daycare, which makes me so happy. I tried to cheer him up about leaving by giving him a ball to hold in the carseat. He took the ball, and chucked it into the street. I ran to get the ball and almost got hit by a car (going about 2 mi. an hour....) but still, I was not happy! He loves playing outside, reading books, doggies, playing chase around the couches, dancing, screaming high pitched in the house, walking backwards and hoping he lands on something soft, eating, putting the other end of Mommy's electric toothbrush in his mouth while I brush my teeth, and watching Baby Einstein World of Music over and over again, and TICKLING!!! He will tickle anyone's toes. He gets the biggest kick out of it. The other day, he was actually tickling his vegetables:) It makes us smile all the time. It's been a great month, and we look forward to another great one!

A few weeks ago, we were able to take him to the park for the first time! He loved it!

Daddy caught him, and he was having fun;)

Daddy lets him ride on this down the slant of our driveway. He loves going fast! Mommy pushes him in it. Mommy's ride is not so fun.

We played ping pong with him one night and used the Baby Bjorn instead of having to hold him.
Grandpa Mick came and made Jack his first fruit smoothie! He was obsessed and couldn't get enough:)
That looks like a satisfied face!
Monkey face!
Just after bath...one of my favorite times!!

Kicking a ball with Daddy
Aw, what Daddy does, Jack does.
This has been a new thing. He wants to go downstairs and upstairs all day long. So now he tries to sneak through the gate.
This was a fun trick...throw all the balls down on the landing so they HAVE to let me go downstairs! Nope:)

He likes trying to squeeze into small spaces to try to prove something. But this tube has been one of his favorites this month. He puts a ball in one end, and we have to blow it so the ball pops out. This is seriously his favorite toy.

We had everyone come to our house this Easter. It was great having everyone here!
Being sneaky and watching where Daddy and Grandpa Bob hide his Easter eggs!

First Easter basket: twisty crayons, coloring paper, play-dough eggs.

He loved his bunny ears!

Kissing his book. He will kiss any animal, toy, or person you ask him to:)
This kid was spoiled at Easter. Yikes.
Loved his new golf clubs from Grandpa Mick!

The egg hunt. He didn't really pick up on this very well but it was still fun to try.

Three generations of Browns!
Uncle Mike!
We didn't give Jack any candy this Easter (mean I know...he had plenty of cookies and goldfish), but he was playing with an Easter egg I packed for an adult, and we looked over and he had found the chocolate robin egg and it turned his mouth blue! Sneaky!!

Loving the ears:)
My brother and sister!

First time coloring!

First popsicle! Lots of teething going on...I think he has 13 teeth with 3 more popping through!
Jack was our excuse to dye eggs!

Tee-ball set from the Easter bunny!

Olivia trying to help him learn! I think he likes golf better...

Hangin with Aunt Laura

This is a glimpse in the future of my summer....up and down and up and down all. day. long. Yay!!
Feeding himself yogurt

Looking for Mike's cat, Potato, under Grandpa Mick's bed.

Making a fire...
Jack found some ladies at Laura's friend, Jamie's, wedding! Too bad we only made it to the first dance:(

Looking out the Black's building window at downtown Waterloo....
He even had a name card for his seat;) Cute...
Jack was having fun making soup the next morning at Grandma Joyce's. He stirred in a can of evaporated milk with some toys. He didn't want the oatmeal and peanut butter to go into his soup. He kept taking it out when we'd put it in:)
